Nitztzabim – You are standing and Wayyelek – and he went. Reading.
Shavuah Tov,
If you believe The Scriptures are Elohim’s infallible Word and you believe Elohim, believe that He says what He means and means what He says. Please read and discover….. .
Also this week I like to share with you what we read and B”H from now on every week….. . If you like it. I'm not a first class teacher. But it shall go better when I do it more. To think about it how it was last Shabbath and looking forwards for the next Shabbath. While we are ‘traveling’…. .
So we read last Shabbath:
Nitztzabim – You are standing
Torah: Debarim 29:10-30-20
Haftorah: YeshaYahu 61:10-63:9
Suggested Haberiet HaChadashah Reading: Rom 10:1-12
And
Wayyelek – and he went
Torah: Debarim 31:1-31-30
Haftorah: Hosheah 14:1-9; Mikha 7:18-20; Yo’el 2:15-27
Suggested Haberiet HaChadashah Reading: Rom 10:14-18
As a starting point:
We are living in a time that:
Habakkuk 1:5 “Look among the nations and see, and be amazed, be amazed! For a work is being wrought in your days which you would not believe if it were told?
Hab 1:6 “See, I am raising up the Chaldeans, a bitter and hasty nation, who is going through the breadth of the earth, to possess dwelling places that are not theirs.
Hab 1:9 “All of them come for violence, the direction of their faces is like the east wind, and they gather captives like sand.
But Abba said also:
Isa 47:1 “Come down and sit in the dust, O maiden daughter of Baḇel. Sit on the ground without a throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans! For no more do they call you tender and delicate.
Isa 47:2 “Take the millstones and grind flour. Remove your veil, lift up the skirt, uncover the leg, pass through rivers.
Isa 47:3 “Let your nakedness be uncovered, let your shame also be exposed. I take vengeance, and meet no man.”
And:
You have to come out of her…. .
I believe and I’m convinced, also when I hear about natural disasters earthquakes and hunger and wars that Abba YHWH:
Mic 7:14 Shepherd Your people with Your rod, the flock of Your inheritance, who dwell alone in a forest, in the midst of Karmel. Let them feed in Bashan and Gilʽaḏ, as in days of old.
Mic 7:15 “As in the days when you came out of the land of Mitsrayim, I shall let him see wonders.”
Mic 7:16 Let the gentiles see and be ashamed of all their might, let them put their hand over their mouth, let their ears be deaf.
Mic 7:17 Let them lick the dust like a serpent, let them come trembling from their strongholds like snakes of the earth, let them be afraid of יהוה our Elohim and fear because of You.
Mic 7:18 Who is an Ěl like You – taking away crookedness and passing over the transgression of the remnant of His inheritance?
He shall not retain His wrath forever, for He Himself delights in kindness.
He shall not retain His wrath forever, for He Himself delights in kindness.
Mic 7:19 He shall turn back, He shall have compassion on us, He shall trample upon our crookednesses! And You throw all our sins into the depths of the sea!
Mic 7:20 You give truth to Yaʽaqoḇ, kindness to Aḇraham, which You swore to our fathers from the days of old!
It shall be as Abba YHWH promised us:
Isa 11:11 And it shall be in that day that יהוה sets His hand again a second time to recover the remnant of His people who are left, from Ashshur (that is special you Ephraim, mix-up with the non-Israelite s, but Abba YHWH knows you all!) and from Mitsrayim, from Pathros and from Kush, from Ěylam and from Shinʽar, from Ḥamath and from the islands of the sea (Jews and Ephraim).
Isa 11:12 And He shall raise a banner (our Banner is that not Yeshuah Rabbeinu our Messiah?) for the nations, and gather the outcasts of Yisra’ĕl, and assemble the dispersed of Yehuḏah from the four corners of the earth.
In the suffering that is now going on, and what shall become ‘harder’, more suffering shall come. Abba YHWH is calling us, ‘gather the outcasts of Yisra’ĕl’.
Please listen to His Voice?
Please listen to His Voice?
If you listen to His Voice Ephraim and Yudah Abba YHWH shall fill us with an intense Love for each other so that really:
Isa 11:13 And the envy of Ephrayim shall turn aside, and the adversaries of Yehuḏah be cut off. Ephrayim shall not envy Yehuḏah, and Yehuḏah not trouble Ephrayim.
They are there ‘the envy of Ephrayim’ and ‘the adversaries of Yehuḏah’ but with His Love, in listening to His Voice, it shall disappear….. . Yes, when Abba is pouring out:
Zec 12:10 And I will pour upon the house of David (The whole House of Israel, Jews and Ephraim), and upon the inhabitants of Yerushalayim, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourned for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
Please come let we do this!
And then it shall happen:
Isa 11:14 But they shall fly down upon the shoulder of the Philistines toward the west (Gaza); together they plunder the people of the east, their hand stretching forth on Eḏom and Mo’aḇ, and the children of Ammon shall be subject to them. (Nowadays Yordan)
We here in the Land of Israel we are afraid for what is happening in the country's around us but also Abba said about it:
Isa 7:18 And it shall be in that day that יהוה whistles for the fly that is in the farthest part of the rivers of Mitsrayim, and for the bee that is in the land of Ashshur.
Isa 10:24 Therefore thus said the Master יהוה of hosts, “My people, who dwell in Tsiyon, be not afraid of Ashshur, who beats you with a rod and lifts up his staff against you, in the way of Mitsrayim. (Through the 'Hesbollah' in Libanon)
Isa 10:25 “For yet a little while and the displeasure shall be completed, and My displeasure be to their destruction.”
Isa 10:26 And יהוה of hosts stirs up a lash for him as the smiting of Miḏyan at the rock of Orĕḇ. And as His rod was on the sea, so shall He lift it up in the way of Mitsrayim.
Isa 10:27 And in that day it shall be that his burden is removed from your shoulder, and his yoke from your neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing oil.
So Israel, Ephraim and Yudah, who is here with ‘the anointing oil’? These ‘Chaldeans’ or Israel?
If you believe The Scriptures are Elohim’s infallible Word and you believe Elohim, believe that He says what He means and means what He says. Please read and (re) discover….. .
Nitztzabim – You are standing:
Deu 29:10 “All of you are standing today before יהוה your Elohim: your leaders, your tribes, your elders and your officers, all the men of Yisra’ĕl,
(Everyone! Do you remember Ephraim, you was also standing there!)
Deu 29:11 your little ones, your wives, and your sojourner who is in the midst of your camp, from the one who cuts your wood to the one who draws your water,
(Why?)
Deu 29:12 so that you should enter into covenant with יהוה your Elohim, and into His oath, which יהוה your Elohim makes with you today,
Deu 29:13 in order to establish you today as a people for Himself, and He Himself be your Elohim, as He has spoken to you, and as He has sworn to your fathers, to Aḇraham, to Yitsḥaq, and to Yaʽaqoḇ.
Deu 29:14 “And not with you alone I am making this covenant and this oath,
Deu 29:15 but with him who stands here with us today before יהוה our Elohim, as well as with him who is not here with us today.
(All the children who came later out of Israel, we Jews we ‘see it in each other eyes that we stood there we recognize it. And nowadays many start to ‘see that’ also in the eyes of their brother Ephraim who is not a Jew…. . But still you have to come! ‘so that you should enter…. .)
Deu 29:16 “For you know how we dwelt in the land of Mitsrayim and how we passed through the nations which you passed through,
Deu 29:17 and you saw their abominations and their idols, wood and stone, silver and gold, which were with them,
Deu 29:18 lest there should be among you a man or woman or clan or tribe, whose heart turns away today from יהוה our Elohim, to go and serve the mighty ones of these nations, lest there should be among you a root bearing bitterness or wormwood.
Deu 29:19 “And it shall be, when he hears the words of this curse, that he should bless himself in his heart, saying, ‘I have peace though I walk in the stubbornness of my heart,’ in order to add drunkenness to thirst.
Deu 29:20 “יהוה would not forgive him, but rather, the displeasure of יהוה and His jealousy shall burn against that man, and every curse that is written in this book shall settle on him, and יהוה shall blot out his name from under the heavens.
Deu 29:21 “And יהוה shall separate him for evil, out of all the tribes of Yisra’ĕl, according to all the curses of the covenant that are written in this Book of the Torah.
Deu 29:22 “And the generation to come of your children who rise up after you, and the foreigner who comes from a far land, shall say when they see the plagues of that land and the sicknesses which יהוה has sent into it:
Deu 29:23 ‘All its land is sulphur, salt, and burning; it is not sown, nor does it bear, nor does any grass grow there, like the overthrow of Seḏom and Amorah, Aḏmah and Tseḇoyim, which יהוה overthrew in His displeasure and His wrath.’
Deu 29:24 “And all nations shall say, ‘Why has יהוה done so to this land? What does the heat of this great displeasure mean?’
Deu 29:25 “And it shall be said, ‘Because they have forsaken the covenant of יהוה Elohim of their fathers, which He made with them when He brought them out of the land of Mitsrayim.
Deu 29:26 ‘And they went and served other mighty ones and bowed themselves to them, mighty ones that they did not know and that He had not given to them,
Deu 29:27 therefore the displeasure of יהוה burned against this land, to bring on it every curse that is written in this book.
Deu 29:28 ‘And יהוה uprooted them from their land in displeasure, and in wrath, and in great rage, and cast them into another land, as it is today.’
(So don’t forget Israel, he really let it happen….. . Ephraim you went first. Many years later Yudah. Yudah came back (not everyone) and went again….. . Around 2000 years back. But around the 1900’s the first Jews came and in 1948 we had again the State Israel. The blessing of restoration started with the Yudah, the Jews.)
Deu 29:29 “The secret matters belong to יהוה our Elohim, but what is revealed belongs to us and to our children forever, to do all the Words of this Torah.
(That should be written on our hearts when Yeshuah Rabbeinu our Messiah is in our live!)
Deu 30:1 “And it shall be, when all these words come upon you, the blessing and the curse which I have set before you, and you shall bring them back to your heart among all the gentiles where יהוה your Elohim drives you,
(Than, only than you find your identity back. Maybe not exactly as by us Jews but with all the Words – Mitswoth – that Abba YHWH gave us through Moshe. And believe me than there is so much different… .)
Deu 30:2 and shall turn back to יהוה your Elohim and obey His voice, according to all that I command you today, with all your heart and with all your being, you and your children,
Deu 30:3 then יהוה your Elohim shall turn back your captivity, and shall have compassion on you, and He shall turn back and gather you from all the peoples where יהוה your Elohim has scattered you.
(Also Ephraim, not only Yudah. See: Eze 37:16-28 “And you, son of man, take a stick for yourself and write on it, ‘For Yehuḏah and for the children of Yisra’ĕl,his companions.’ Then take another stick and write on it, ‘For Yosĕph, the stick of Ephrayim, and for all the house of Yisra’ĕl, his companions.’
17 “Then bring them together for yourself into one stick, and they shall become one in your hand.
18 “And when the children of your people speak to you, saying, ‘Won’t you show us what you mean by these?’
19 say to them, ‘Thus said the Master יהוה, “See, I am taking the stick of Yosĕph, which is in the hand of Ephrayim, and the tribes of Yisra’ĕl, his companions. And I shall give them unto him, with the stick of Yehuḏah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in My hand.” ’
20 “And the sticks on which you write shall be in your hand before their eyes.
21 “And speak to them, ‘Thus said the Master יהוה, “See, I am taking the children of Yisra’ĕl from among the gentiles, wherever they have gone, and shall gather them from all around, and I shall bring them into their land.
22 “And I shall make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Yisra’ĕl. And one sovereign shall be sovereign over them all, and let them no longer be two nations, and let them no longer be divided into two reigns.
23 “And they shall no longer defile themselves with their idols, nor with their disgusting matters, nor with any of their transgressions. And I shall save them from all their dwelling places in which they have sinned, and I shall cleanse them. And they shall be My people, and I be their Elohim,
24 while Dawiḏ My servant is sovereign over them. And they shall all have one shepherd and walk in My right-rulings and guard My laws, and shall do them.
25 “And they shall dwell in the land that I have given to Yaʽaqoḇ My servant, where your fathers dwelt. And they shall dwell in it, they and their children and their children’s children, forever, and My servant Dawiḏ be their prince forever.
26 “And I shall make a covenant of peace with them – an everlasting covenant it is with them. And I shall place them and increase them, and shall place My set-apart place in their midst, forever.
27 “And My Dwelling Place shall be over them. And I shall be their Elohim, and they shall be My people.
28 “And the gentiles shall know that I, יהוה, am setting Yisra’ĕl apart, when My set-apart place is in their midst – forever.” ’ ” )
Deu 30:4 “If any of you are driven out to the farthest parts under the heavens, from there יהוה your Elohim does gather you, and from there He does take you.
Deu 30:5 “And יהוה your Elohim shall bring you to the land which your fathers possessed, and you shall possess it. And He shall do good to you, and increase you more than your fathers.
Deu 30:6 “And יהוה your Elohim shall circumcise your heart and the heart of your seed, to love יהוה your Elohim with all your heart and with all your being, so that you might live,
(That is what Rabby Shaul from the HaBerith Chadashah is teaching us: that it is Abba YHWH who circumcises your heart, like He promised it here and on many other places. Not a ‘breaking of the Torah’, or that Jesus Christ fulfilled the Law and the Law has no more value and you can come up with other laws, instead, who are not from Abba YHWH! That error we bare a long time…. . That error sit already a long time with you Ephraim. From the time that you departed from Yudah…. . When there came a Northern Kingdom (Ephraim) and a Southern Kingdom (Yudah) the holy places instead of The Har HaBait…. . More. Later Yudah went the same way…. . But in the letters of Rabby Shaul you find a deep teaching about an ‘circumcise heart’ by Abba YHWH an old truth what we lost a long time back. An truth that lift up Yeshuah like He said: Joh 8:28 So יהושע said to them, “When you lift up the Son of Aḏam, then you shall know that I am He, and that I do none at all of Myself, but as My Father taught Me, these words I speak.
Rom 2:29 But a Yehuḏite is he who is so inwardly, and circumcision is that of the heart,1 in Spirit, not literally, whose praise is not from men but from Elohim. Footnote: 11 Cor. 7:19, Ex. 19:5, Dt. 10:12-16, Dt. 30:6-8.
Rom 4:11 And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the belief while in uncircumcision, for him to be a father of all those believing through uncircumcision, for righteousness to be reckoned to them also,
Rom 4:12 and the father of circumcision to those who not only are of the circumcision, but who also walk in the steps of the belief which our father Aḇraham had in uncircumcision.
1Co 7:19 The circumcision is naught, and the uncircumcision is naught, but the guarding of the commands of Elohim does matter!1 Footnote: 1Rom. 2:26-29.
Gal 6:15 For in Messiah יהושע neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any strength, but a renewed creature.1 Footnote: 11 Cor. 7:19, Rom. 2:26-29, 2 Cor. 5:17.
Php 3:3 For we are the circumcision, who are serving Elohim in the Spirit, and boasting in Messiah יהושע, and do not trust in the flesh,
Col 2:11 In Him you were also circumcised with a circumcision not made with hands, in the putting off of the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Messiah,
Tit 1:10 For there are many unruly men, senseless talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision…. .)
Deu 30:7 and יהוה your Elohim shall put all these curses on your enemies and on those who hate you, who persecuted you.
Deu 30:8 “And you shall turn back and obey the voice of יהוה and do all His commands which I command you today.
(You shall. We are waiting for that)
Deu 30:9 “And יהוה your Elohim shall make you have excess in all the work of your hand, in the fruit of your body, and in the fruit of your livestock, and in the fruit of your ground for good. For יהוה turns back to rejoice over you for good as He rejoiced over your fathers,
Deu 30:10 if you obey the voice of יהוה your Elohim, to guard His commands and His laws which are written in this Book of the Torah, if you turn back to יהוה your Elohim with all your heart and with all your being.
(O Abba…. .)
Deu 30:11 “For this command which I am commanding you today, it is not too hard for you, nor is it far off.
Deu 30:12 “It is not in the heavens, to say, ‘Who shall ascend into the heavens for us, and bring it to us, and cause us to hear it, so that we do it?’
Deu 30:13 “Nor is it beyond the sea, to say, ‘Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it to us, and cause us to hear it, so that we do it?’
Deu 30:14 “For the Word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart – to do it.
(Here is the same promise as in Jer. 31: 31, what we have when Yeshuah is in our heart)
Deu 30:15 “See, I have set before you today life and good, and death and evil,
Deu 30:16 in that I am commanding you today to love יהוה your Elohim, to walk in His ways, and to guard His commands, and His laws, and His right-rulings. And you shall live and increase, and יהוה your Elohim shall bless you in the land which you go to possess.
(that happened in past and soon happening again but shall be greater)
Deu 30:17 “But if your heart turns away, and you do not obey, and shall be drawn away, and shall bow down to other mighty ones and serve them,
Deu 30:18 “I have declared to you today that you shall certainly perish, you shall not prolong your days in the land which you are passing over the Yardĕn to enter and possess.
Deu 30:19 “I have called the heavens and the earth as witnesses today against you: I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. Therefore you shall choose life, so that you live, both you and your seed,
Deu 30:20 to love יהוה your Elohim, to obey His voice, and to cling to Him – for He is your life and the length of your days – to dwell in the land which יהוה swore to your fathers, to Aḇraham, to Yitsḥaq, and to Yaʽaqoḇ, to give them.”
Haftorah: YeshaYahu 61:10-63:9
(Please understand your blessing:)
Isa 61:10 I greatly rejoice in יהוה, my being exults in my Elohim. For He has put garments of deliverance on me, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
Isa 61:11 For as the earth brings forth its bud, as the garden causes the seed to shoot up, so the Master יהוה causes righteousness and praise to shoot up before all the nations!
sa 62:1 For Tsiyon’s sake I am not silent, and for Yerushalayim’s sake I do not rest, until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, and her deliverance as a lamp that burns.
Isa 62:2 And the nations shall see your righteousness, and all sovereigns your esteem. And you shall be called by a new name, which the mouth of יהוה designates.
Isa 62:3 And you shall be a crown of comeliness in the hand of יהוה, and a royal head-dress in the hand of your Elohim.
Isa 62:4 No longer are you called “Forsaken,” and no longer is your land called “Deserted.” But you shall be called “Ḥephtsiḇah,” and your land “Married,” for יהוה shall delight in you, and your land be married.
Isa 62:5 For as a young man marries a maiden, so shall your sons marry you. And as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so shall your Elohim rejoice over you.
Isa 62:6 I have set watchmen on your walls, O Yerushalayim, all the day and all the night, continually, who are not silent. You who remember יהוה, give yourselves no rest,
Isa 62:7 and give Him no rest till He establishes and till He makes Yerushalayim a praise in the earth.
Isa 62:8 יהוה has sworn by His right hand and by the arm of His strength, “No more do I give your grain to be food for your enemies, nor do sons of the foreigner drink your new wine, for which you have laboured;
Isa 62:9 but those gathering it shall eat it, and praise יהוה. And those collecting it shall drink it in My set-apart courts.”
Isa 62:10 Pass through, pass through the gates! Prepare the way for the people. Build up, build up the highway! Remove the stones. Lift up a banner for the peoples!
(Please lift up Yeshuah our banner…..)
Isa 62:11 See, יהוה has proclaimed to the end of the earth: “Say to the daughter of Tsiyon, ‘See, your deliverance has come; see, His reward is with Him, and His work before Him.’ ”
Isa 62:12 And they shall be called, “The Set-apart People, the Redeemed of יהוה.” And you shall be called, “Sought Out, a City Not Forsaken.”
Isa 63:1 Who is this coming from Eḏom, with garments of glowing colours from Botsrah, who is robed in splendour, striding forward in the greatness of His strength? “It is I who speak in righteousness, mighty to save.”
Isa 63:2 Why is there red on Your raiment, and Your garments like one who treads in the winepress?
Isa 63:3 “I have trodden the winepress alone, and from the peoples no one was with Me. And I trod them down in My displeasure, and I trampled them in My wrath. Their blood is sprinkled upon My garments, and I have defiled all My raiment.
Isa 63:4 “For a day of vengeance is in My heart, and the year of My redeemed has come.
Isa 63:5 “And I looked, but there was none helping, and I was astonished that there was none upholding. So My own arm saved for Me, and My wrath upheld Me.
Isa 63:6 “And I trod down peoples in My displeasure, and made them drunk in My wrath, and brought down their strength to earth.”
Isa 63:7 Let me recount the kindnesses of יהוה and the praises of יהוה, according to all that יהוה has done for us, and the great goodness toward the house of Yisra’ĕl, which He has done for them according to His compassion, and according to His many kindnesses.
Isa 63:8 And He said, “They are My people, children who do not act falsely.” And He became their Saviour.
Isa 63:9 In all their distress He was distressed, and the Messenger of His Presence saved them. In His love and in His compassion He redeemed them, and He lifted them up and carried them all the days of old.

Rom 10:1 Truly brothers, my heart’s desire and prayer to Elohim for Yisra’ĕl is for deliverance.
Rom 10:2 For I bear them witness that they have an ardour for Elohim, but not according to knowledge.

Rom 10:4 For Messiah is the goal1 of the ‘Torah unto righteousness ‘to everyone who believes. Footnote: 1Or end purpose; not termination.
Rom 10:5 For Mosheh writes about the righteousness which is of the Torah, “The man who does these shall live by them.”
Rom 10:6 But the righteousness of belief speaks in this way, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who shall ascend into the heavens?’ ” – that is, to bring Messiah down; or,
Rom 10:7 “ ‘Who shall descend into the abyss?’ ” – that is, to bring Messiah up from the dead.
Rom 10:8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” – that is, the word of belief which we are proclaiming:
Rom 10:9 That if you confess with your mouth the Master יהושע and believe in your heart that Elohim has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.
Rom 10:10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, and so is saved.
Rom 10:11 Because the Scripture says, “Whoever puts his trust in Him shall not be put to shame.”
Rom 10:12 Because there is no distinction between Yehuḏite and Greek, for the same Master of all is rich to all those calling upon Him.

Deu 31:3 “יהוה your Elohim Himself is passing over before you. He shall destroy these nations from before you and you possess them. Yehoshua himself is passing over before you, as יהוה has spoken.

Deu 31:8 “And it is יהוה who is going before you, He Himself is with you. He does not fail you nor forsake you. Do not fear nor be discouraged.”
Deu 31:9 And Mosheh wrote this Torah and gave it to the priests, the sons of Lĕwi, who bore the ark of the covenant of יהוה, and to all the elders of Yisra’ĕl.
Deu 31:10 And Mosheh commanded them, saying, “At the end of seven years, at the appointed time, the year of release, at the Festival of Booths,
Deu 31:11 when all Yisra’ĕl comes to appear before יהוה your Elohim in the place which He chooses, read this Torah before all Yisra’ĕl in their hearing.
Deu 31:12 “Assemble the people, the men and the women and the little ones, and your sojourner who is within your gates, so that they hear, and so that they learn to fear יהוה your Elohim and guard to do all the Words of this Torah.
(Should that not be the reason to read the weekly Parashah… .)
Deu 31:13 “And their children, who have not known it, should hear and learn to fear יהוה your Elohim as long as you live in the land you are passing over the Yardĕn to possess.”
Deu 31:14 And יהוה said to Mosheh, “See, the days have drawn near for you to die. Call Yehoshua, and present yourselves in the Tent of Meeting, so that I command him.” And Mosheh and Yehoshua went and presented themselves in the Tent of Meeting.
Deu 31:15 And יהוה appeared at the Tent in a column of a cloud, and the column of a cloud stood above the door of the Tent.
Deu 31:16 And יהוה said to Mosheh, “See, you are about to sleep with your fathers. And this people shall rise and whore after the mighty ones of the strangers of the land into the midst of which they shall enter, and forsake Me and break My covenant which I have made with them.
(Yudah and Ephraim this happened to us! What we did!)
Deu 31:17 “Then My displeasure shall burn against them in that day, and I shall forsake them and hide My face from them, and they shall be consumed. And many evils and distresses shall come upon them, and it shall be said in that day, ‘Is it not because our Elohim is not in our midst that these evils have come upon us?’
Deu 31:18 “And I shall certainly hide My face in that day, because of all the evil which they have done, for they shall turn to other mighty ones.
Deu 31:19 “And now write down this song for yourselves, and teach it to the children of Yisra’ĕl. Put it in their mouths, so that this song is to Me for a witness against the children of Yisra’ĕl.
Deu 31:20 “And I shall bring them to the land flowing with milk and honey, of which I swore to their fathers, and they shall eat and be satisfied and be fat, then they shall turn to other mighty ones, and they shall serve them, and scorn Me and break My covenant.
Deu 31:21 “And it shall be, when many evils and distresses come upon them, that this song shall answer before them as a witness. For it is not to be forgotten in the mouths of their seed, for I know their thoughts which they are forming today, even before I bring them to the land of which I swore to give them.”
Deu 31:22 And Mosheh wrote this song the same day, and taught it to the children of Yisra’ĕl.
Deu 31:23 And He commanded Yehoshua son of Nun, and said, “Be strong and courageous, for you are to bring the children of Yisra’ĕl into the land of which I swore to them, and I Myself am with you.”
Deu 31:24 And it came to be, when Mosheh had completed writing the Words of this Torah in a book, until their completion,
Deu 31:25 that Mosheh commanded the Lĕwites, who bore the ark of the covenant of יהוה, saying,
Deu 31:26 “Take this Book of the Torah, and you shall place it beside the ark of the covenant of יהוה your Elohim, and it shall be there as a witness against you,
Deu 31:27 for I myself know your rebellion and your stiff neck. See, while I am still alive with you today, you have been rebellious against יהוה, then how much more after my death?
Deu 31:28 “Assemble unto me all the elders of your tribes, and your officers, so that I speak these words in their hearing and call the heavens and the earth to witness against them.
Deu 31:29 “For I know that after my death you shall do very corruptly and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you. And evil shall come to you in the latter days, because you do what is evil in the eyes of יהוה, to provoke Him through the work of your hands.”
Deu 31:30 So Mosheh spoke in the hearing of all the assembly of Yisra’ĕl the words of this song till their completion:
Haftorah: Hosheah 14:1-9; Mikha 7:18-20; Yo’el 2:15-27
Read and look at your blessing Israel what is coming:
Hosheah 14:1-9
Hos 14:1 O Yisra’ĕl, return to יהוה your Elohim, for you have stumbled by your crookedness.
Hos 14:2 Take words with you, and return to יהוה. Say to Him, “Take away all crookedness, and accept what is good, and we render the bulls of our lips1. Footnote: 1Heb. 13:15 - bulls, referring to offerings.
Hos 14:3 “Ashshur does not save us. We do not ride on horses, nor ever again do we say to the work of our hands, ‘Our mighty ones.’ For the fatherless finds compassion in You.”
Hos 14:4 “I shall heal their backsliding, I shall love them spontaneously, for My displeasure has turned away from him.
Hos 14:5 “I shall be like the dew to Yisra’ĕl. He shall blossom like the lily, and cast out his roots like Leḇanon.
Hos 14:6 “His branches shall spread, and his splendour shall be like an olive tree, and his fragrance like Leḇanon.
Hos 14:7 “Those who dwell under his shadow shall return. They shall revive like grain, and blossom like the vine, and become as fragrant as the wine of Leḇanon.
Hos 14:8 “What more has Ephrayim to do with idols? It is I who answer and look after him. I am like a green cypress tree, your fruit comes from Me.”
Hos 14:9 Who is wise and understands these words, discerning and knows them? For the ways of יהוה are straight, and the righteous walk in them, but the transgressors stumble in them.
Mikha 7:18-20
Mic 7:18 Who is an Ěl like You – taking away crookedness and passing over the transgression of the remnant of His inheritance? He shall not retain His wrath forever, for He Himself delights in kindness.
Yo’el 2:15-27
Joe 2:15 Blow a ram’s horn in Tsiyon, set apart a fast, call an assembly.
Joe 2:16 Gather the people, set the assembly apart, assemble the elders, gather the children and nursing babes. Let a bridegroom come out from his room, and a bride from her dressing room.
Joe 2:17 Let the priests, servants of יהוה, weep between the porch and the altar. And let them say, “Spare Your people, O יהוה, and do not give Your inheritance to reproach, for the gentiles to rule over them. Why should they say among the peoples, ‘Where is their Elohim?’ ”
Joe 2:18 And let יהוה be jealous for His land, and spare His people.
Joe 2:19 And let יהוה answer and say to His people, “See, I am sending you the grain and the new wine and the oil, and you shall be satisfied by them. And no longer do I make you a reproach among the gentiles.
Joe 2:20 “And the Northerner I shall remove far from you, and drive him away into a dry and deserted land, with his face toward the eastern sea and his rear toward the western sea. And his stench shall come up and his smell rise, for he has done greatly.”
Joe 2:21 Do not fear, O soil, be glad and rejoice, for יהוה has done greatly!
Joe 2:22 Do not fear, you beasts of the field, for the pastures of the wilderness shall spring forth, and the tree shall bear its fruit, the fig tree and the vine shall yield their strength.
Joe 2:23 And you children of Tsiyon, be glad and rejoice in יהוה your Elohim, for He shall give you the Teacher of Righteousness, and cause the rain to come down for you, the former rain and the latter rain, as before.
Joe 2:24 And the threshing-floors shall be filled with grain, and the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil.
Joe 2:25 “Then I shall repay you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, and the consuming locust, and the gnawing locust, My great army which I sent among you.
Joe 2:26 “Then you shall eat – eat and be satisfied – and shall praise the Name of יהוה your Elohim, who has done with you so wondrously. And My people shall never be put to shame.
Joe 2:27 “And you shall know that I am in the midst of Yisra’ĕl1, and that I am יהוה your Elohim and there is no one else. And My people shall never be put to shame. Footnote: 1See Isa. 24:23.
